SRINAGAR, AUGUST 19 (BANN): The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has issued an advisory to domestic consumers, urging them to only engage with authorized solar PV vendors for the installation of solar rooftops under the PM Surya Ghar Scheme.
In an official statement today, a KPDCL spokesperson highlighted that some consumers have been approached by unregistered solar vendors offering to install solar rooftop systems (SRTs) under the scheme. The spokesperson emphasized that consumers should refer to the list of approved vendors, which is available on the National Portal of PM Surya Ghar, to ensure they select a legitimate provider.
The spokesperson further clarified that consumers who choose to install solar rooftops through vendors not authorized by KPDCL will not be eligible to receive subsidies from either the Central or Union Territory (UT) government. KPDCL has consistently issued warnings through its social media channels to prevent customers from being misled by unapproved vendors.___BANN
