Ramban, April 20 (BANN): In a heartbreaking incident, two young men lost their lives after a sudden cloudburst triggered flash floods in the Seri Bagna village of Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district early Sunday morning.According to official sources, the cloudburst struck during the pre-dawn hours, unleashing a torrent of water that caused significant damage in the area.
Swift response teams were dispatched immediately to carry out rescue and relief operations. Tragically, the bodies of two brothers, identified as Aqib Ahmad and Saqib Ahmad—sons of Mohammad Haneef—were recovered from the affected site. Both were residents of the Seri Bagna locality.
Authorities are continuing efforts to assess the full scope of the damage caused by the flash floods. Meanwhile, local police have initiated necessary legal proceedings and taken note of the incident.
