Tral, April 20, 2025 (BANN) : A significant conclave was convened today under the leadership of Mr. Mohammed Ramzan Dar, Zonal President of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) Tral Zone. The gathering witnessed participation from several key dignitaries and office bearers of the organization, reflecting a collective resolve to address challenges and uplift the educational ecosystem.
The event brought together prominent figures such as Chairman Mr. Mohd Shafi Rather, Provincial President Mr. Javaid Ahmad Bhat, Chief Organizer Mr. Farooq Ahmad Sofi, General Secretary Mr. Hamid Ullah Trumboo, UT Finance Secretary Mr. Shabir Ahmad, Provincial Secretary Mr. Rafiq Ahmed Bhat, Vice President Province Mr. Javaid Ahmad Khan, Executive Member Mr. Gulzar Ahmad Nihami, DP Pulwama Mr. Gh Hassan, District Secretary Mr. Mohd Amin, ZP Awantipora Mr. Dilawar Ahmad Wani, ZP Lurgam Mr. Mohammed Amin Najar, ZP Shadimarg Peer Zada Fayaz Ahmed, Secretary Zone Tahab Mr. Faroze Ahmad, alongside zonal body members and other delegates from Tral.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues impacting the teaching community were discussed in depth. The participants shared their perspectives and underlined the importance of bolstering student enrollment in government schools. The implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was a central theme, with attendees stressing its potential to rejuvenate the education sector and bring meaningful transformation to academic institutions.
The forum highlighted the need to empower teachers and create an environment where they can perform with passion and commitment. Emphasis was laid on making education more learner-centric, with members drawing from their experiences to suggest ways to improve pedagogy, mentorship, and overall institutional development.
Adding to the day’s significance, a felicitation ceremony was held to honour newly promoted Headmasters. The function witnessed the participation of HMs from Ratsona Tral, Lalpora Kahlil Tral, Machama Tral, and Saimoh Tral, who were warmly congratulated by their peers and forum leaders.The conclave concluded on a high note, with all members expressing satisfaction over the collaborative spirit and organizational standards upheld by JKTF.
