Five Family Members Die Due to Suffocation in Pandrathan, Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan 05: In a tragic incident, a family of five, including a husband, wife, and their three children, lost their lives to suffocation on Sunday evening in Pandrathan area of Srinagar, officials reported.

According to details, the family, originally from Baramulla, was residing in a rented house in Pandrathan. Late at night, they reportedly fell unconscious due to suffocation.

A senior police officer stated that the victims were immediately taken to the hospital, but doctors declared them dead on arrival.

The authorities are yet to confirm the identities of the deceased, and an investigation has been initiated to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
