Leopard Attacks Minor in Bijbehara, Injured Child Hospitalized

Srinagar, Feb 09 : An eight-year-old boy sustained injuries after being attacked by a leopard in the Dadoo area of Bijbehara, South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, on Sunday evening.

According to an official, the victim, identified as Yasir Khan, son of Taj Mohammad Khan, was initially provided medical assistance at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for advanced treatment.

Concerned residents have urged the wildlife department to take immediate action to prevent such incidents in the area.
