The announcement was confirmed by Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo.In an exclusive interaction, the Education Minister said the government has decided to declare the results of both classes on the same day to end the long wait for students and parents. She said the delay had caused anxiety among students, prompting the government to fast-track the process.“We understand the concerns of students who have been waiting for their results. Therefore, we decided to declare the results of both Class 10th and Class 12th on Wednesday,” Sakina Itoo said.

The minister informed that the Result Declaration Committee (RDC) meeting will be convened by the Secretary JKBOSE, with members including the Director School Education of both Kashmir and Jammu divisions, along with joint secretaries.

She added that administrative approval for the results will be granted directly, instead of routing it through the chairman’s office. The move comes at a time when the post of JKBOSE Chairman has remained vacant for nearly a year.

Addressing this issue, the Education Minister assured that the appointment of a permanent chairman will be taken up immediately after the declaration of results.“Once the results are announced, the process to appoint a permanent chairman for JKBOSE will also be completed,” she said.

Meanwhile, an official from JKBOSE said that the Class 10th results will be declared in the morning hours on Wednesday, while the Class 12th results will follow later in the afternoon.

Earlier, several reports had highlighted the delay in the appointment of the JKBOSE chairman and its impact on result declaration. Media outlets had repeatedly drawn attention to the issue, urging timely action.
