Transition for Classes 10-12 to Take Effect Next Year

Srinagar, Oct 30 : The Jammu and Kashmir administration has announced that the academic session for students up to 9th grade will shift back to the November-December schedule, moving away from the previous March-based session.
In an exclusive conversation with News agency , J&K Education Minister Sakina Itoo confirmed that the academic schedule for classes up to 9th grade will be realigned to November-December.
“Currently, we are adjusting the academic calendar to November-December for classes up to 9th grade. The shift for students in grades 10 to 12 will occur starting next year,” Itoo said.
In 2022, Jammu and Kashmir authorities had announced the adoption of a Uniform Academic Calendar beginning with the 2022-23 academic year—(KNO).
