Bandipora, Nov 25 (BANN): The Bandipora-Gurez road, which had been closed since Saturday due to heavy snowfall at Razdan Top and nearby areas, has been reopened for traffic, officials announced on Monday.
An official informed BANN that the road is now accessible, with traffic permitted under specific timings to ensure safety.
Traffic from TCP Kanzalwan will be allowed from 08:30 am to 11:00 am, while from TCP Tragbal, vehicles can travel between 01:30 pm and 04:00 pm.
“Drivers and passengers should depart from Pethkoot at 12:00 pm and wait at TCP Tragbal until all vehicles from Gurez arrive,” the official stated.
He also emphasized that all vehicles must be equipped with anti-skid chains, and traffic will only be allowed after the Border Roads Organization (BRO) confirms the road conditions.
