Boy Injured in Leopard Attack in Handwara Village

Handwara: A 10-year-old boy was injured after being attacked by a leopard in Mawer area in Handwara.

As learnt by API, a boy identified as Aadil lateef paswal son of Abdul lateef paswal was attacked by a leopard outside his home yesterday evening.

Alerted by the cries, the family intervened timely and rescued the boy.

The boy was later taken to NTPHC Qalamabad for treatment.

When contacted, Dr ayoub at NTPHC, said that the boy is responding well to the treatment and is out of danger.

Notably, this is the 2nd attack by the man-eater leopard after a bear left an elderly woman dead in Mirpora Qalamabad few days ago.
