Kulgam, Aug 15 (BANN): A cloudburst in the Damhal Hanjipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district resulted in the de@th of one person and left another injured on Thursday, according to officials.
The incident occurred in the Banward area of DH Pora, prompting immediate rescue efforts. An official source informed BANN News that the local police and civil administration swiftly responded to the scene.
The deceased has been identified as Mukhtar Ahmad Chouhan, son of Mohammad Hussain Chouhan, a resident of Bangward Bala. The injured individual is Rafakat Ahmad Chouhan, also the son of Mohammad Hussain Chouhan from the same village.
Tehsildar DH Pora, Zahid Gani , confirmed that a team has been dispatched to the location, and additional details will be provided soon.
