
Srinagar, December 13 (BANN): Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhary conducted a comprehensive review of various road projects in the Kashmir region, with a particular focus on Ganderbal, Kulgam, and Srinagar districts.
The meeting was attended by officials, including the Chief Engineer of Central Kashmir, Executive Engineer of R&B Division Ganderbal, and Executive Engineer for MORTH works, along with other key personnel. Discussions centered on the progress of ongoing and upcoming development projects, particularly in the Ganderbal district.
The Deputy CM called for a well-rounded approach to the district’s development, prioritizing the removal of obstacles in road infrastructure projects. Updates were provided by the Chief Engineer on major initiatives such as the Noor Bagh Bridge, Kulgam Bypass, Sanat Nagar Flyover, and other important projects.
Surinder Chowdhary instructed officials to ensure adherence to office attendance protocols and emphasized efficient handling of public grievances to enhance administrative functioning.
Later, the Deputy CM interacted with several deputations representing diverse concerns. The Jammu and Kashmir Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association raised issues related to career progression, vacancies, regularization, and service-related matters.
Additionally, delegations from JKPCC employees and contractors, as well as the Jammu and Kashmir Fire and Emergency Aspirants Association, met with the Deputy CM to discuss their respective grievances.
The Deputy Chief Minister assured the deputations that their concerns would be reviewed thoroughly and addressed promptly to provide effective solutions.
