
Baramulla, Feb 21: A man with disabilities lost his life due to suffocation after a fire broke out in his house in North Kashmir on Friday.
According to officials, the fire severely damaged a double-story house, leading to the tragic death of 31-year-old Zubair Siraj, son of Mohammed Siraj. Due to his disability, he was unable to escape and remained trapped in the attic.
Local residents, along with fire and emergency services, made efforts to control the flames and minimize further destruction. The fire caused extensive damage to the property.
Meanwhile, police have taken note of the incident and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
