Jammu and Kashmir Weather Forecast: August 18-19

Srinagar,August 17 (BANN):The weather across Jammu and Kashmir is expected to remain mostly dry on August 18, with a possibility of isolated showers or spells, particularly in the late afternoon and evening. Early morning showers are anticipated in some plains of Jammu.

On August 19, which coincides with Raksha Bandhan, early morning showers may occur in parts of the Jammu plains. In Kashmir, predominantly dry conditions are forecasted, though a few areas might experience a thundershower.

Important Notes:

1. The risk of intense showers and cloudbursts persists.
2. Travelers on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway should be cautious of potential shooting stones.
