Srinagar, August 11: The ongoing military operation in Ahlan Kokarnag has claimed three lives, including two soldiers and a civilian who succumbed to their injuries.
The fallen soldiers have been identified as Havildar Dipak Kumar Yadav and Lance Naik Praveen Sharma.
The operation, taking place in a difficult terrain, faces significant communication challenges. The nearest motorable location, Ahlan, is 19 kilometers from the encounter site, complicating coordination efforts for the security forces.
Despite these obstacles, a large-scale search operation is in progress to locate and neutralize the terrorists hiding in the area.
