
SRINAGAR, APRIL 6 (BANN): Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday attended an I-League football match between Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) and Churchill Brothers Goa at the TRC Ground in Srinagar.
He was accompanied by his Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, Commissioner Secretary Youth Services and Sports, Secretary J&K Sports Council, and several other senior officials.
The match drew a huge crowd of enthusiastic local supporters, who gathered in large numbers to witness the exciting clash. The game ended in a 1-1 draw, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats.
Omar Abdullah wore the Real Kashmir FC jersey during the event, expressing his support and solidarity with the team and its ever-growing fan base.
He commended Real Kashmir FC for providing a platform to the youth of Kashmir to showcase their talent at the national level. The former Chief Minister also interacted with the players and officials of both teams, applauding their performance and sportsmanship.
