Sartaj Altaf Bhat son of Mohammad Altaf Bhat resident of Niloora Pulwama is presently working as an online editor with Good Morning Kashmir and Jk Awaaz.
I am very passionate about photography and I spend my days honing my skills,” he said.
Sartaj is also a social worker as he always has been highlighting the issues of poor people with the authorities.He has been presently pursuing his Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication besides that working as special correspondent and Berue chief at BANN News .
He has been always on the forefront to highlight public issues so as to take them with higher ups and solve them.
He was awarded many times by district administration in Recognition of his excellent performance in the field of Journalism.
My aim is to work for the welfare of downtrodden people through all skills be it photography, social work or journalism, he said.
When i had no camera i used to take photos with my android phone, which was those days like a DSLR Camera for me. “Now I have some three -four cameras in my hand,” he said.
He has worked at many news organizations in Kashmir. He had a quite long time also worked for the Kashmir’s leading daily Newspapers. “He says he is very thankful to his family who supported him in the initial days of the beginning of his carrier.
