Weather Update J&K: Jammu on Flood Alert, South Kashmir Under Heavy Rain Spell

Very heavy rainfall is expected across several parts of Jammu region today, particularly in Kathua, Samba, Doda, Jammu, Ramban, and Kishtwar districts. No improvement is expected before evening.

Flood Alert for Jammu Region: With water levels already above danger marks in many streams and rivers, a further and significant rise is likely till tonight.In South Kashmir, moderate to heavy rain will continue, with heavy to very heavy downpours over its higher reaches.

The water of Jhelum is expected to rise (no Flood Alert for now).Central Kashmir may receive light to moderate showers, while North Kashmir, in general, may see light rain or dry weather.(kashmir weather)
