AEE Suspended After Arrest by Anti-Corruption Bureau

Srinagar, Nov 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Roads and Buildings Department has suspended Mubarak Ahmad Ganaie, Incharge Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), following his arrest by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).

According to the suspension order issued by Commissioner Secretary Bhupinder Singh, the suspension has been effective since October 16, 2024, under Rule 31(2) of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1956.

During the suspension period, Ganaie has been directed to report to the office of the Chief Engineer, Public Works Department, North Kashmir. The suspension will remain in force until further orders as the investigation continues. __ CNS
