
Rajouri, February 06 (BANN): A total of 529 samples of insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers have been collected from different parts of Rajouri district as part of an ongoing investigation related to Badhaal village.
Teams formed by Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma identified 257 shops for sampling. Among them, 60 shops sell insecticides, pesticides, and herbicides, while 194 sell fertilizers. Sample collection was carried out in 254 of these shops.
During the drive, officials collected 293 samples of insecticides, pesticides, and herbicides, along with 236 fertilizer samples. These samples will now be tested, and the results may help in the investigation.
The operation was conducted by officials from the Executive Magistrate, Police, Health, and Agriculture Departments, under the supervision of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa.
