Jammu, February 7 (BANN): Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo today launched Samadhan 2.0, an upgraded, AI-powered public grievance redressal platform aimed at ensuring efficient, transparent, and time-bound resolution of complaints across Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative introduces advanced features designed to streamline grievance handling for both the public and the administration.
The launch event was attended by Administrative Heads of various departments and senior officials.
AI-Driven Enhancements for Improved Public Service
During the unveiling, Chief Secretary Dulloo reviewed the platform’s new capabilities and emphasized the importance of quality grievance redressal. He directed the developers to integrate AI-based filters to categorize grievances by content, geographical location, department, status, gender, and timeframe. Additionally, he recommended an AI mechanism to identify and consolidate similar complaints, ensuring collective resolution within a stipulated timeframe.
To enhance accessibility, Dulloo urged officials to increase public registrations, enabling more citizens to utilize the platform. He also proposed leveraging Samadhan 2.0 as a centralized communication hub for government advisories related to essential services, health, employment, scholarships, and infrastructure updates.
Empowering Administrative Oversight
The Chief Secretary instructed that senior officials, including Administrative Heads, Deputy Commissioners, and departmental heads, be granted super access to the system. This would allow them to monitor grievance resolution processes through AI-generated reports and Management Information System (MIS) dashboards, ensuring accountability and efficiency.
AI-Powered Prioritization & Analytical Insights
Providing further insights, Secretary of Public Grievances, Aijaz Asad, highlighted the integration of AI tools to enhance grievance redressal. The system prioritizes complaints related to essential services and urgent matters, automatically sending reminders to concerned officials for timely action.
He revealed that over 3,38,872 citizens have registered on the JK Samadhan portal so far, with nearly 3,26,000 registrations in the last month alone. The revamped platform features an analytical dashboard, offering GIS-based heat maps to identify problem areas and track the average time taken by departments for grievance resolution.
With Samadhan 2.0, the administration aims to establish a more responsive and citizen-centric governance framework, ensuring swift and effective resolution of public concerns across the Union Territory.
