Body of Missing Srinagar Man Found in River Near Aharbal, Kulgam

Srinagar, Oct 30 : Officials reported that the body of a man from Rainawari, Srinagar, who had been missing, was discovered in a river near Aharbal in Kulgam.

According to an official, the decomposed body was found in the Hutmate area, about a kilometer downstream from Aharbal. The body has been handed over to the local police to complete the necessary legal procedures.

The deceased has been identified as Adil Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad, from Nayid Pora, Rainawari, Srinagar, who had been missing since September 30.

The family, speaking to the media, appealed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and other authorities to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.__KNO
