
PULWAMA, DECEMBER 03 (BANN) : In observance of the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities,’ the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama, in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Office, organized a cricket match at the Sports Stadium Pulwama.
The event followed the guidelines issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Naseer Ahmad Dar, Chairman of DLSA Pulwama (Principal District and Sessions Judge), and coordinated by Mudasar Farooq, Secretary of DLSA Pulwama.
Speaking at the event, Secretary DLSA delivered an address highlighting the significance of the day and inaugurated the cricket match, which featured participation from individuals with special abilities.
In his concluding remarks, the Secretary reiterated the commitment of DLSA Pulwama to supporting and assisting people with disabilities. Additionally, a Panel Lawyer from DLSA provided an overview of the importance of the ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities.’
The event saw participation from the Sports Department Pulwama, the Chairman of the Handicapped Association Pulwama, staff members, and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) of the DLSA.__ BANN
