Srinagar , August 21 (BANN) : A new, relatively weak Western Disturbance has started affecting the region of Jammu and Kashmir. This weather system is expected to bring mostly cloudy skies across the area throughout the day. As a result, there is a likelihood of light to moderate rain showers in various parts of the region.
The Jammu region is anticipated to feel the effects of this disturbance more significantly than the Kashmir valley, with a higher chance of rainfall. While most areas will experience light to moderate rain, certain locations could receive more intense showers.
Although the possibility of a cloudburst is generally low today, it cannot be entirely ruled out, especially in the areas prone to such events. Residents are advised to remain cautious and stay updated with local weather reports.
