
PULWAMA, NOVEMBER 23 (BANN): The Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Pulwama, in partnership with the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Government Degree College (GDC) Pulwama, organized a seminar and felicitation ceremony aimed at guiding and motivating civil services aspirants.
The event commenced with a welcome speech by District Information Officer (DIO) Pulwama, Wajeeza Mushtaq, creating an encouraging and positive atmosphere. Senior Superintendent of Police Pulwama, P.D. Nitya, attended as the chief guest and honored the candidates who excelled in the recent J&K Combined Competitive Examination, 2023.
In her address, SSP Nitya emphasized the significance of perseverance and consistency in achieving success in civil services. She encouraged the students to believe in their abilities and pursue their goals with dedication.
Successful candidates shared their experiences, preparation strategies, and the challenges they faced during the session. An interactive segment followed, where students eagerly engaged with the toppers, seeking advice and practical tips on various aspects of the examination.
The seminar saw the participation of hundreds of students, who expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights provided. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the faculty of GDC Pulwama, acknowledging the efforts of DIPR Pulwama, the Career Counselling and Placement Cell, and all dignitaries involved.
The event was also attended by the Assistant Commissioner Development, Pulwama, Principals of Government Degree Colleges of Pulwama, Rajpora, and GDC Women’s Pulwama, along with faculty members of GDC Pulwama, officials from DIPR Pulwama, and other concerned departments.(BANN)
