Srinagar, Sep 01 (BANN): The Democratic Progressive Azad Party’s (DPAP) Chief Spokesperson, Salman Nizami, held a press conference today where he confirmed that the party is gearing up to contest the upcoming assembly elections with full vigor.
In his statement, according to BANN News, Nizami shared updates on the health of DPAP Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad, who was recently hospitalized at AIIMS due to medical concerns.
Nizami reported that Azad is now on the mend and his condition has significantly improved.
He further mentioned that Azad plans to join the campaign for the Phase 1 candidates in the final days, reaffirming his dedication to leading the party toward success.
Nizami also highlighted that DPAP will carefully select constituencies where the party has a strong presence and the best chances of winning.
Given Azad’s current health situation, he will not be able to campaign across all constituencies.
The spokesperson emphasized the need to avoid splitting secular votes, saying, “This is the moment to keep away those who have deprived us of our rights and failed to deliver on progress and development.”
DPAP remains committed to defending the rights and aspirations of the people, with the public showing great trust in Azad’s leadership, particularly his focus on development.
Nizami assured that if DPAP wins, the party will initiate a new era of development and work tirelessly to uplift the poor, ensuring growth and prosperity for everyone.—(BANN)
