Srinagar, Nov 05 (BANN): Education Minister Sakina Itoo announced on Tuesday that the government will scrutinize and take action against private schools failing to adhere to established regulations.
In an address to the media, Sakina stated that guidelines regarding tuition fees and other charges are already in place and are mandatory for all private schools. She emphasized that private educational institutions in Jammu and Kashmir fall under government oversight, and those found increasing fees unlawfully will face appropriate consequences.
“Any private school operating outside the government’s prescribed rules and norms will be thoroughly examined, and necessary measures will be taken against such institutions,” she said.
