Srinagar, Nov 11 (BANN) – According to the Meteorological Centre in Srinagar, light rain and snow are anticipated across various regions of Jammu and Kashmir on 15 and 16 November.
A MET official indicated that light rainfall or snowfall could occur, particularly in the higher elevations, on 11 November.
From 12 to 14 November, the weather is likely to remain generally dry in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Between 15 and 16 November, light rain or snowfall may take place, especially in the higher altitudes of northern and some central areas of Kashmir.
From 17 to 23 November, dry weather is expected to prevail across the region, with no significant changes anticipated.
Farmers are advised to securely store harvested crops to prevent any weather-related damage and to plan other agricultural tasks accordingly. Residents, especially in the plains, are urged to be cautious of potential mist or light to moderate fog in the early mornings and late evenings, which may reduce visibility, the official added. — (BANN)
