
Srinagar, December 21, 2024 (BANN) : Srinagar experienced a severe cold wave as temperatures dropped to -8.5°C, the third lowest December temperature recorded in the last 133 years.
This extreme cold has caused disruptions in daily life, including frozen water pipes and hazardous road conditions.
Authorities have set up emergency shelters and medical teams are on high alert to assist residents.
