Weather Update: Rainfall to Decrease in Jammu, South & Central Kashmir; Flash Flood Risk Remains

Jammu & Kashmir, August 15, 2024 – The intensity of rainfall is expected to decrease as the day progresses in the Jammu region, as well as in South and Central Kashmir. However, showers may persist in some areas, particularly in North Kashmir, where the chances of continued rainfall are higher until the evening.

Residents are advised to remain cautious as there is a high risk of flash floods and cloudbursts over the next 72 hours.
