Winter Break for Primary Schools in Kashmir Likely from December 9

Classes 9th and Above to Follow a Week Later

Srinagar, Dec 03 (BANN): The School Education Department is expected to declare winter vacations for schools in the Kashmir division starting December 9, implementing the break in phases, according to official sources.

Insiders informed news agency that the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK), has submitted a proposal to the government, requesting approval to schedule the vacation from December 9 to February 28, 2025.

As per the proposal, secondary and senior secondary classes will likely commence their winter break a week after the primary-level students.
