
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18 (BANN): The first phase of the General Elections to the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly is witnessing a strong voter response as polling continues across 24 assembly constituencies. Spread across seven districts of Jammu & Kashmir, these constituencies have reported a substantial voter turnout, reflecting the enthusiasm of the electorate.
By 1 PM, an impressive 41.17% of eligible voters had already cast their ballots, according to the Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu & Kashmir. This significant turnout demonstrates the public’s eagerness to participate in the democratic process, and polling stations across the region have been actively engaged in accommodating the influx of voters.
