BHADERWAH, SEPTEMBER 22 (BANN): Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhadarwah, Sunil Kumar, officially opened the Inter-District Division-Level Kho-Kho tournament for Under-14 girls today in a grand event at Government Degree College Bhaderwah.
The competition features ten teams from various districts including Jammu, Udhampur, Samba, Reasi, Poonch, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Kathua, and the host district Doda. A total of 119 players, accompanied by 20 contingent in-charges such as managers and coaches, are participating in the event.
This tournament is organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (YS&S) as part of their annual sports calendar, under the leadership of Director General Rajinder Singh Tara, with guidance from Joint Director Ved Parkash and overall management by DYSSO Doda, Sunil Kumar.
The morning session saw some thrilling matches where Poonch defeated Kishtwar, Rajouri outplayed Ramban, Samba triumphed over Reasi, and Jammu secured a win against Kathua.
