Kishtwar, Feb 03 : A group of unidentified thieves looted Rs 19.5 lakh from a J&K Bank branch in the Dachan area of Kishtwar district, officials confirmed on Monday.

According to an official, the robbers managed to break into the bank and escape with the cash.
The branch is located in a remote area that often remains cut off during winter, making it more vulnerable. Authorities have launched an investigation to track down the culprits. “We are reviewing CCTV footage and working on leads to identify those involved,” the official added.
